The serial, to go on air from July 28, portrays the struggles of a woman from a middle-class family, the sacrifices she makes, the responsibilities she shoulders and much more through the eyes of the protagonist, Punitha.
With nail-biting sequences the story gets more interesting.
Directed by Sughi Jeyaram the series stars Nithiya Manohar, Monica, Delhi Kumar, Vincent Roy and Absar.

Too many ads; so much so the actual Serial is on for 13 – 15 minutes! Sometimes same ad is repeatedly shown in quick sequence – 2 or 3 times to imprerss the "DUMB AUDIENCE".
Previously the TV serial would start after the Theme song and a list of Sponsor and advertisers. Now it begins witn a set of ads. for 5-7 minutes and then only the Serial for 5-7 minutes and again 5-7 minutes of ads & so on. We are cheated as to when the serial session ends – they stop at a point and show more ads. We FOOLISHLY WAIT for some more of action only to be told then that it has ended. All kinds of GIMMICKS TO FOOL THE MEEK VIEWERS. It is HIGH TIME AUDIENCE PROTESTED!
If an Ad is shown twice in quick succeassion, it is an INSULT to viewers. BAN THE PRODUCT ADVERTISED. If a product is shown twice in a serial avoid buying that product. More than twice in a single session, BAN THAT PRODUCT.
We should have at least 20 minutes of actual serial in a session of 30 minutes. INVITE VIEWERS TO SEND/VOICE COMMENTS and not to remain dumb!
